I believe!

We TOTALLY saw a ghost on Saturday.

Yep.

His name is "Shorty" and he lives at the Alamo. The story is that he likes "the ladies". So we had to act like morons and "call to him" to get his attention. This means we had to flirt with a ghost. We told him he was cute and we offered him the Mexi. Told him she would belly-dance for him. Blew kisses. The whole nine yards. Yes, we felt like idiots, but to see a ghost (human image) in a thermal imaging camera was effin' worth it. Besides... its not like we had to put out or anything. What's a little cat-calling when you get to see cool ass stuff? Exactly. Anyway! So I'd post a picture of what we saw, but I'm not supposed to...YET! But when it IS posted, I'll put up a link.

So the Mexi met the Boyfriend (Friday) on Saturday (the night we saw the ghost). He was a little nervous. You know, meeting the oldest/best friend is a big deal. It's up there with Mom/Dad and family. I think he did well tho. She said "he's cool". So there's that.

Apparently now it's time I meet his folks. OMG! I am usually very good with parents, so I know I have little to worry about, but this is still major. It's very important I start things out on the right foot w/Moms (and Dad, of course). So I'm asking everyone out there for some pointers. I have a winning personality and people like me; so surely I should be fine.

Let's hope so.

On the work-front... more and more of my students hate me. Apparently this is the true way to break my teenage-dealing cherry. Have them hate me. If this is truly the case, I am DEFINITELY NOT a virgin anymore... cuz that list grows weekly. Hopefully tho it won't lead to public displays of affection, like last semester's bathroom messages "''Flower' is a fucking bitch". "Flower" being my colleague (whose name is left out for obvious reasons). Yeah. Can you believe that shit? The crazy part... they wrote out her whole damn name. Middle name included, I think. Crazy, right???

I feel a little jealous in hindsight. No one has graffiti'd MY name on the bathroom door walls. Who do I have to smack around to get that honor?

Hope everyone had a great weekend... mine was once again, amazing. Filled with pink hearts and yellow stars (and no, I'm not talking about "Lucky charms"... hmmm, maybe just the "lucky" part.). *nudge nudge wink wink*
