But it's just a blog

So apparently I AM that naive.

Awesome.

You know those mirrors at the mall? The ones that are not only mirrors they are also magnifiers. Yeah. I had a total experience like that very recently; and with regards to my blog.

Perhaps many of y'all have seen the shift in my writing the last several months. And perhaps even that shift started happening even before that.

I don't know.

What I do know is that to me these are just words. They are words put together to describe the present and the past. What about the future you ask? I'm not a psychic, so I won't nor couldn't presume to foretell that jazz. Well, aside from the Spurs heading for a repeat. But that's not what I'm referring to. I would never want my parents, aunts, uncles, several of my cousins, students, or co-workers to ever read this. It would be a disaster. And yet, they could. With a little luck and computer Jedi-mind tricks, they could easily. And where would I be? Embarrassed? Insanely so. Fired? Who knows? Is there a damn thing I could do tho? Not at all.

I always think it's interesting that some of my friends read this here blog daily. While others don't. Is it because they are busy? Or possibly because they know that I use this medium for many purposes. To shock. To discuss. To entertain. To vent. To reminisce. And of course, D. All of the Above. Bloggers know what I'm talking about tho. We know that this... is just a blog. It's not a mirror and it's even less of "window into our souls". Because it's just words. It's not my daily actions, my daily decisions. It's not anything in the way of touch or smell or any of the senses that are a part of me. It's just words. That is all.
