I am starting to get in wedding planning gear after ... oh how many months? I feel like a Nazi with Friday.
"No you cannot go to the movies because we need to register!"
I'm a monster! All the man wants to do is relax and I'm like "NO!"
Hopefully once all this is over we can sit back and relax for a bit. At least one can only hope.
Still working on settling in to the new house and all the new house expenses. Little did we know...
So good times at work. My coworker actually rode a pretend mechanical bull yesterday at a school function. Why was it pretend? Because it was cheap plastic and surrounded by one of those inflatible jazzes. We have it recorded and now watch it anytime we need a huge laugh.
School starts tonight. I am just incapable of staying still. I have school two nights a week, I work late another night and the other two I have to try and get a jog or something in so I can be in some sort of "shape" (I think my body prefers round to be honest) for my wedding.
I am still growing out my hair as well. This has been a lot easier than expected. My hair is currently longer than its been in many many years. I like it a lot. Of course having longer hair means I lose longer hairs. Poor Friday thinks I'm going bald with the amount of hair I shed. It's understandable. I just reassure as much as I can.
Other stuff I've been noticing. Jordin Sparks' new song "Battlefield".... sounds strikingly familiar. Oh wait! I know, because Pat Benatar sang the same damn song and it was called "Love is a Battlefield". Good lord Jordin, can we be any less original? You shoulda just done a cover.
As the ever faithful Spurs fan, I have decided that my Bachelorette Party will be held at a Spurs game. I looked into group rates and one of my mom's friends has already said she'd make me a Spurs veil. I am beyond excited. Especially as the Spurs only got better this summer. I think we got a very good chance so long as we stay healthy.
Other than all that, I'm just keeping (very) busy and trying not to get too bogged down with all of the things I still need to do. Who knew it'd be so challenging to throw a party for 200+ peeps.
Indeed.
