Happy New Year!

Usually this time of year, I look back at Oscar and relive the year. But this year, I don't have the time nor to be honest, the energy to do that... SO I think I'll just wing it.

Some things you'll recall, others notsomuch.

Well, I started the year with 2 effin' car accidents. One not my fault, another all me. It sucks, but it's pretty much par for course at this point.

Another major thing that happened early in the year... I decided to change my life. For the better. What am I referring to? Well, I've kept it quiet for many reasons, mostly shame - but here it is.

Ok.

Since February of this year I have lost the equivalent of Paris Hilton from my body.

What am I talking about?

You see peeps, I have lost over 110 lbs since February.

Well, give or take a pound or two.

If you're freaking out - well, that's to be expected.

As you can imagine, something like that is pretty life-changing. I have found it to be for the best. Mostly because I now consider myself a relatively healthy woman (minus the most recent issue - which cannot be controlled by weight loss/gain). I truly cannot recall the last time I was my current size. Now, don't be fooled. I'm not exactly pencil thin, in fact, I could still stand to lose a few (and the current plan is to keep losing). But that's neither here nor there. It is what it is and I'm pretty proud of myself.

Moving on.

Let's see. I finally said goodbye to an "on again/off again" ex. Also, FOR THE BEST.

I started working out... even running. Crazy, eh?

I went "back to school" and rocked ass.

And then towards the end of the year (the last 2 months to be more exact), a lot of shit happened.

I met someone special.

I bought a new cell phone.

I got a new job.

I got sick (i.e. the cyst).

And I moved into my own apartment.

All in all, it's been a pretty hectic year.
