I have been so busy folks that I have barely had time to breathe. Okay. That's a lie. Truly, I hate that phrase. Clearly, I've had time to breathe. I've had time to eat, breathe, take baths, pee, shit, drive to and from work, watch TV, see my family and bf, etc. I've had a shitload of time. What I have not had time to do was blog. Nor really the energy/initiative.
Please don't take it personally. It's not you... it's me.
So! I am sitting on mountain of paperwork. I have craploads of things to grade, things to turn in, files to file, reports to report, et al. and all before 2pm manana. Why 2pm manana? Because that is officially when my Holiday break begins! That's right bitches! Two whole weeks of me and whatever the fuck I wanna do.
I will be making the rounds. The plan is to call up friends and family I have been neglecting for the last oh... 6 months due to school and work. I also wanna get some tennis in and studying. Oh yeah. And sleep. Lots of glorious, majestic, not getting up at 6am sleep.
With Christmas upon us, I am totally feeling it. I have had my Christmas shopping done for WEEKS and these damn presents are burning holes in my apartment. I want to give them NOW! Is that weird?
Additionally, I have been baking. I made "Monkey Bread" (not racist, per se) and these yummy oatmeal squares for work. I also made some for Friday's Mama. I need her to know I am not a dud in the kitchen. I can use my oven with the best of 'em!
It's so weird to think back on all that's happened this year... (cue the sappy music), but eventually I will. Either via my cell or my bf's 'puter, I promise this is not the last you'll hear from me before the year is over. 'til next time. I'm off to go eat, breathe, take baths, pee, shit, drive to and from work, watch TV, see my family and bf, and (yikes!) spend money I really don't have. Ah-ha!
