Let me make a list first so I don't forget...
- Lent
- Ulcers
- Doctors bills
- Tax refunds/rebates
- Random bruises
- The Rodeo
First off, we have the season of Lent. This year I decided to give up the following: chocolate, pizza, anything fried, hamburgers, donuts, soda and chips. If you're wondering why those things that's because I was eating them again. And less in moderation than I should be. I know, I know. Tsk tsk. Regardless, I've given them up and so far so good. :)
As it turns out, I do indeed have a corneal ulcer in my right eye. That if not treated properly could lead to blindness. Sweet. I'm being good though and using my ($25!!!) eye drops as prescribed. Which leads to the next topic...
Doctors bills. Every time I visit my doctor that is a minimum of $30. I am scheduled for appointment #3 (in a week) and will probably have at least one more after that. FUCK. ME.
OH and my "appointments" (not the first one) was all of 10 minutes long.
I like to whine about shit like this because it sucks. I't makes me wonder if I am destined to have to spend tons of money on medical expenses every year for the rest of my life now?!?!? Sonofa! I realize I shouldn't bitch because some folks are WAY worse off than me, but I am still working through my pity party so give me a break, k? I know I'll be okay - but hey, if you can't vent on your own damn blog, where can ya vent?!?
I do have good news though. I received my tax refund already! It's pretty much spent though. Okay, so technically, only half. The other half is sitting in a lame ass savings account. Just in case.
Next, I have two big ass bruises these days. One is on my shin. Last weekend, during tennis, I was serving and mistook my knee for the ball. D'oh! Oh yeah and the other day I somehow managed to bruise the fleshy part of the bottom of my foot. Nice! Speaking of, I don't recommend doing that. It hurts like a mother!
And finally, I'm going to The Rodeo tonight! And if you're wondering why it's capitalized, I don't know. That's just how we do things down here. Later, y'all!

um...just be glad you didnt have to spend your tax return on, hmmm, new brakes, bearings and (TA DA!!! towing and deductible on a stolen/totalled car) Apparently 92 Honda Civics are the #1 stolen car in America...who knew? When it returned (on V day-ruining dinner plans) we could turn the car on with our house key or a screwdriver or, well...I didn't TRY that one...
Too bad...I could have done something exciting like PAY OFF MY DURN CAR LOAN!!!
