To be honest, I could care less about last night's NBA Championship win. In fact this is what I read this morning... blah blah blah ... the Lakers are a bunch of effin' losers... blah blah blah. One sentence that DID make me stop was this one -
"You see? Defense does win championships. The Boston Celtics have proven just that. "
Ok. What?! That is a big fuck you to my Spurs and I am NOT cool with that. No shit defense wins championships. How do you think the Spurs have won four in the last ten years?! With defense you cocksucking sports writers. Ugh! That shit pisses me off. I tell you what tho - if it had been us and the Celtics, it woulda been a damn good series. Damn good. And of course, in the end, we would have won. But that's not what happened. And I guess I'm okay with that. It IS an even year afterall. So I will call it now the Spurs in '09!
