30 years old and I finally own my own computer (laptop actually).
I'm a computer owner! WOO!
I know I said I was going to wait until I had gotten the Best Buy (PLUG!) gift cards as gifts but BB was having a KILLER sale this week... and on the laptop I wanted. So I took the gift cards from my parents, Friday and Friday's folks and went ahead and made the plunge on Monday.
It's AWESOME by the way. I don't know what I was waiting for!! I have always wanted one and with graduate school starting in a couple of months it was going to be pretty necessary.
In the meantime, I've been walking around with a major "I just bought myself a computer" glow. Ya know what, I think for the first time in my life I have actually made a major purchase and don't have Buyer's remorse. I think I may be growing up indeed.
