That there are two kinds of people in this world - Morning People and Not-a-Morning People. Unfortunately for Morning People, it's a bit lonely in this world. Not that I consider myself a Morning Person by any means - but at the same time, I'm also not a "Not-a-Morning Person".
Triple negative... I know. Sorry.
But it's true.
Now, don't expect me to be chipper, jolly or jump around and shit first thing in the morning. Hells-to-the-no, but at the same time, I am not the type to go around with a frown on my face, nor am I unapproachable. Like so many Not-Morning People folk are. I just the, live and let live variety. I'll do my thing, you do yours. I may not say "hey, what's up?", but I'm also not likely to ignore you if you say it first. I will definitely reply and it will always be sincere (unless you're a douche, then all bets are off).
It's interesting to me when being around "Not-a-Morning People" how easy it is to rely on that old adage - "Don't mind me, I'm not a morning person." That is kind of like saying, "hey it's not my fault I'm a sour-puss in the mornings, it's Nature's." It's the world's gravitational pull, or some other nonsense. Yeah, yeah.
But I do feel for "Not-a-Morning People", because their polar opposites "Morning People" are completely nuts and probably deserve everything they get. As for the rest of us that fit more in the middle of these two dynamics, at least we can say that more our mornings are never dull. In fact, many times I just sit back and watch the show...

I'm definitely a morning person...although not all bouncy and chipper, I do my best in the morning. I am however, married to a "Not-a-Morning People" to the worst degree. I could rip his face off and he wouldn't even notice until about 4pm.
