When you are trying to lose weight it is inevitable that at some point you hit what is commonly referred to as a "plateau". Which basically means that no matter what you're doing, you don't seem to be losing any effin' weight. You could be consuming 1200 calories or less a day (as you're supposed to be doing) and nothing happens. You're weight doesn't seem to be changing. Every day you look at your scale and think "WHAT! I ate water and gum yesterday! How could I have not lost any weight!" (Ok, so that is an exaggeration; but still, you get my drift.)?
And then one day, you're body gets it. It gets that you're saying "Hey beyotch (Body). We're trying to drop some pounds here! Let's get with the program already!"
So this morning, my body got the memo. It got the fax. The campus email came was finally read. And I blasted through that effin' plateau.
As you can imagine. I was/am happy. :)
