A moment to breathe

I am definitely earning my pitiful educator income this week!

Updates:
Last weekend was tons o' fun! My friends and I celebrated Stacy's b-day by hitting up a winery nearby. I am not really much of a wine drinker, but I really enjoyed my time there. It was fun. I am one of those people who get a kick out of those silly wine descriptions.

"Its leathery chocolate bark flavor will surprise you."

Awwww. Come on! Leather?! Bark?! That shit is funny!

My favorite part was when one of Stacy's friends rocked out the homemade brownies. And the Mexi was LOVING one of the wines w/the brownies. I almost peed myself when she said "mmmmm, everything tastes good with brownie in your mouth." And once again, the woman knows her shit.

So that was my weekend. This week however had its ups and downs. It started out kinda crappy when I realized Tuesday morning I had lost my necklace. To be honest, I could care less about the necklace; but the cross I had on it was priceless. I have had that cross since I was 13 years old. It had major sentimental value and now it's gone.

Sorry to ramble, but there is just so much to share!

Tennis is going great! I have really taken to it. I will scrimmage w/one of the other students in the class and usually she kicks my ass... but every once and awhile I will get that one killer ground stroke or volley in. That's when I'm happiest. :) I like to describe it as "when I'm okay, I am REALLY okay. But when I suck, psh! I suck like a pro!" Yeah. I know. I'm such a good influence.
