Most people spend the night before Thanksgiving cooking and getting ready for the following day. I am usually one of those people. Well, more like one of those people who WATCH the people who cook and get ready. I am still at that point in my life where all I have to do is usually make a side dish and show up and eat.
I wonder how much longer THAT will last. Hmmmm..
But anyways, I will NOT be doing either of those things this year. This year, I have decided to do the loving girlfriend bit instead. I bought two tickets to a concert in Houston for my boyfriend. It's his favorite band. Bonus! So we're packing up this afternoon and hitting the road. We'll check out the band, get SOME rest, then head back first thing tomorrow (like 6:30 AM!) morning.
It must be love. Right? ;) Actually, I'm really looking forward to it! I just hope the traffic doesn't make me want to scream.
Regardless, I hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving!
