4 eyed freak

I did something to my eye last week. Don't ask - I'm not telling.

No.

I said, don't ask!

Anyway, it's nothing TOO serious, but it does get worse when I wear my contacts. So, therefore in order to give my eye a "breather", I've decided to wear my glasses the last few days. And will continue to do so until Friday. My glasses are old. Like 2003 old. I know! OLD! My prescription hasn't changed, so that's not the issue... but these frames are seriously... old. school. (And no, not Will Ferrell, "We're STREAKING!" Old School. Like, regular old school.)

First off, they're wire framed. Which in today's hip modern world is so out. I believe it's all about plastic/thick frames. BUT if you are determined to wear wire frames, then they have to be half-framed. Meaning they only go around the top part of your lenses, so as to appear as if you're not wearing glasses at all. Which we all know is effin' ridiculous, because duh! you can clearly tell that glasses are being worn. Give it up. There's no hiding them, four-eyes!

So yeah. I'm sporting the ol' glasses. Scratched up lenses and all. Frames that are WAY too big for my smaller face.

For crying out loud, the protectant on the lenses is chipping off!

These bad boys are way past their retirement, HOWEVER my work offers little to NO vision options and I'm not about to drop $200-$300 for glasses I normally only wear for that 2-3 minutes before I go to bed and when I first wake up. That is just dumb. So dumb.

In the meantime, here I am sitting in front of the 'puter, sporting the ol' glasses. Dorking it up.

Awesome.

I know you're jealous... and I'm okay with that.

I think we were separated at birth =P

It takes a lot for me to actually wear my glasses. I just don't like them. And they are sooo old and wire framed too.

I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

What no pictures? I don't need glasses. (Thank God) My wife just had LASIK this past year, she is one happy camper. Is that something you have thought of?

I'm too cheap for LASIK. As for the provision of pictures.... esp w/me in glasses... it will NEVER happen again. If you didn't get one before I turned 19, then it's too late. Give it up!
