Adventures ahead

Headed out of town again this weekend.

I'm pretty excited, too! I will be visiting some friends from college... getting my "wedding on" (no, not MY wedding) ... and chillaxin'.

Don't be jealous.

To be honest, I'm normally NOT a fan of the weddings. As a perpetually single gal (or so it seems), they are usually pretty depressing. Altho, I do enjoy the free food and booze part. And I do like to get dressed up. But for some reason, this time I'm really looking forward to going. I hardly know the bride (I'm technically someone else's "Plus one"), but I still think it's gonna be cool.

Anyways! So in other news, I'm planning a surprise birthday party for Mom this year. It's already a pain in the ass and will be hella-expensive, but she is worth it. I just want her to be happy and to know how much she is loved and appreciated. Everyone needs a day like that in their lives. Ya know?! That will be pretty much be consuming all of my time for the next couple of weeks. Just FYI.

As for my class, I have a test next week. Give me a break! This class has been a total waste of my time. Ugh! I should have listened when others told me it would be. Oh well. That being the case, I need everyone's help. I HAVE to enroll/apply for grad school already and I need y'all to push me to do it. I've been putting it off for forever. Will someone slap me around already?!!?!?
