Lately it seems as if I've been living life (la vida loca?) from one series of stressful situations to another. Most recently, my psych test (which I think I got at least a "B" on); and now, Mom's birthday bash!
I've started the shopping list and I'm checking it twice. Gotta find out who's naughty or nice?

So, a part of the requests line for this shindig was a pinata. A fucking pinata folks. My mom is going to be 55... not 5! GEEZ!
Okay. So I'm resigned to the pinata issue but now I need to decide what KIND of pinata to get. I don't think Hello, Kitty will work. Maybe a star or something plain and simple. Either way, I think it's silly. But I love my Mother, and if this is going to make the party better, then so be it.

I'd suggest something funny - and womanly-appropriate. Maybe something with "Maxine"??? You know, the greeting card lady? Or maybe...just maybe....something a little risque? Like Brad Pitt or whatever lil young thing she might have mentioned...? Just a suggestion. I mean, you only turn 55 once. I hope. Or is that 29 for the 26th time?
