At least I'm not THAT girl

I know I'm behind the times but I've wanted to post about this for like a month! So here we go!

One night, while I was at home surely awaiting another better and more entertaining show, I got sucked into watching "Deal or No Deal".

Lord! Save me!

Leave it to me to watch the one episode where "Deal or No Deal" had a "first of". You see, sadly, this poor chick (and her very obnoxious friends and family) got so screwed. Girlfriend walked away with ONE PENNY! It was apparently a first for the show. That was what was in her suitcase thingy.

BTW, at one point she told the banker dude "Eff you! I don't want your stinking $400k." What a dumbass!

So yeah. One cent. Do you think they take taxes still? Do you think the producers even wrote her a check or just handed her a penny? And if so, maybe no one HAD a penny, so they gave her a nickel or a dime. Which if that's the case she should feel pretty special. She made 500% her winnings.

Dude. I know if I were a producer or just someone who worked on the show I think I would feel really bad for her and offer her like a dollar or something. I mean, make it worth her while for crying out loud. Sheesh. A penny. What a loser!

Editor's Note (written 10 minutes after initial post): I've thought some more on this and I take it back. I WOULD NOT offer her a dollar. Stupid (yes, that's officially her name now) turned down over $400k in her greediness. She deserves the damn penny.
