I ain't gon' lie

I looooooove the friggin' Internet! I do! Don't ever let anyone else tell ya differently.

Before I go into how deep my love for the Internet goes, let me go ahead and say HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY(belated!) to Oscar.

It was officially on Sunday, January 13th, but I've been busy and he never remembers either so we may just have to officially move the date to today. In any case, here we are three years later. Here we are: a few (ok, a bunch of) pounds lighter, a few tales of woe and happiness have passed through my hands to your eyes, love was lost, love was found (for real), and a shitload of rants later. I think it is safe to say that I would not be nearly as cool or even as content with life if it weren't for this little bit of the world wide web I have inhabited for these last 3 years. I think everyone should have their own little place to sound off or to create and in whatever way they choose to. Perhaps for some it's more private, while for me, I like to share.

Ok - so back to why I heart the Internet so much.

That would be because online (Amazon.com to be more specific) I found the two books I needed for class for 30% what I would have had to pay at the campus bookstore. 30% y'all! That is a STEAL! How many times have I found deals online?!?! Too many to count.

BTW - please don't anyone remind me about that time I was scammed online for several hundred dollars. Like I could forget! But hey, it's time to forgive... and try to forget. Or at least that's the plan. Happy Wednesday y'all!
