Be vewwy vewwy quiet

Ugh! My head hurts. I swear... no matter how much sleep I get these days I am STILL tired when I wake up. It doesn't last all day thankfully, it's only for that first hour of the day, but I can't shake it. It's been going on for a few weeks now. I usually feel a lot better after I've had my coffee. Hmmm, that could be bad. Especially since the plan is to try giving up coffee for Lent. I know! It sounds crazy, it may even be... but I've been thinking about it for awhile now and I think it's a true sacrifice.


In other news, I had my first class last night. Tonight is class #2. I am taking two classes this semester. And unfortunately, they are not at UTSA in the graduate school. I have put off mentioning this, but technically, I was not accepted. I am so embarrassed, y'all. But!! I have a plan. I am taking two more classes (both were approved by a faculty member from the graduate school) and the GRE this semester in the hopes that when I re-apply they will see me as dedicated. In the meantime, I am studying hard and reading as much as I can get my hands on. I hope it'll make a big difference. I already have a killer application essay rough-draft written out in my head. So all is not lost. Now, if the second time is NOT in fact the charm, then I might need to rethink my career. Which would suck cause I really enjoy it, but there is really only so far I'm able to go without a Masters degree in my field. I have faith tho folks, so you should too.

On a WHOLE other subject, I've been hearing a lot in the news about two of America's favorite celebs. Britney and Tom. First off, let's discuss Britney. Seems she's been declared "unfit". I don't know about y'all, but in my world an unfit mom is not a gazillionaire w/a pesky drug problem. She's literally crazy. Beats her kids. Leaves them home alone for hours and doesn't feed them. Basically, the kind that are neglectful and abusive. Neither of which I've heard describe Britney. Hmmm...

Now on to Tom. Apparently the new unauthorized biography claims Tom is so into Scientology that it influences the projects/movies he makes and the women he marries. SACRILEGE!

I cannot simply believe that one's faith/religion would influence someone like that!!!

Impossible!

Oh Shit!

So yeah. Heaven forbid anyone listen to whomever they consider their spiritual leader and take his/her advice on such important matters. I can't even imagine!

PS. If there are any college kids out there reading this.... here are my words of wisdom to you... GO TO CLASS! Make Bs and As if you plan on continuing your education. If not, fuck it... but if you have any plan (or think you may need to) to go grad school, take care of your business now, because you WILL pay for it if you don't. I speak from experience.
