Conversation with Friday:
Me: I think our moms should meet.
Friday: Yeah.
Me: Why not Mother's Day!
Friday: Okay.
Fast forward to today... 2 days before Mother's Day.
Me: What the hell was I thinking?!?!? My mom is nuts!
Okay, so in all seriousness it probably won't be so bad. Friday's Mom is uber nice and my mom is definitely not without her charms. I would even go so far as to say that they even have some things in common. Their faith. Having only one child. Uhm... having a small dog. Being married. See!? They are practically twins. Ugh. I am so scared. My mom is so not shy and can be a bit overwhelming for those more on the quiet side. But regardless of my fears, it needs to happen. Wish us all luck on Sunday - we're gonna need it.
