If we lose to the Lakers this time it won't be because of 0.4 seconds... it will be because of a no call. Oh sure - it won't be the ONLY reason... outrebounded, outplayed blah blah blah. But in that last game just as we were making this push to come back and then did not get the call that the NBA (24 hrs after the fact) said we should have gotten, the game was over. Pushing my beloved Spurs to a 3-1 deficit. It's all coming back to me now. Fucking 0.4 seconds! Anyways, alls I know is that this should not and cannot deflate my guys. They need to push it to the limits... cuz it ain't over til the fat lady sings!
In other news, my Ebay swindler had a change of heart and sent me my item. Sadly I had already ordered a replacement on Amazon. I am now trying to sell the 2nd one in hopes of not having to go through the return process w/Amazon. If I cannot find a buyer then I will just return it. No harm, no foul. It's all very very odd.
Finally, I took the GRE the other day. Motherfush it was hard. I did "okay". I could have done better... I should have done better. Let's just hope "okay" is good enough. I don't even know if taking it again would be my best bet. I'm really considering a whole other direction (i.e. grad program and school). But not just because of the test, but for a whole slew of other reasons. Mostly $$. In the end, ain't that what it's all about? We shall see.
I really hope we win tonight. In fact, I pray we do.
