See that girl I took a picture of in my previous post. The one w/the BIG ASS shrimp earrings. Yeah. Take off the earrings and that was ME this morning.
My hair is naturally curly. Like big time. I'm not talking the tiny little "curly q" type curls that look like hair springs, I have just your average curly hair.
Well, last summer (2005), I decided to try something different. I invested in a straightening iron, some hair products and haven't looked back since. That is, until today. Oh sure, on occasion (usually on Sundays), I'll leave my hair curly, but almost always it's also pulled back in a ponytail so not too many people see the old hairstyle.
Anyway, this old school look last two and half hours. Around 10am I pulled my hair back with a clip and decided to throw in the towel. I'm sorry, but I am done with the 'fro look. Give me soft, straight manageable hair ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!
Probably doesn't help I'm in a bad mood today. And it's only Monday... sonofa!

Ohhh man. I feel the pain.
I have curly hair too and the best money invested was in a flat iron. Except most days I'm lazy so I pull it into a sloppy ponytail...lol.
And damn the wet weather that causes me frizz...
