Dear Dixie Chicks,

Hi! How are y'all?

I am okay.

I wanted y'all to know that I am your biggest fan.

Okay, probably not, but I am definitely a fan, nonetheless.

In fact, I am such a big fan, I just purchased your documentary "Shut up and Sing!"

Uhm, well, technically, I haven't seen it yet but I will. Soon. I promise.

For a really long time I have wanted to tell y'all just how I feel about the incident that changed y'alls career.

Seriously. I think it's bullshit.

Complete and utter bullshit.

I cannot believe we live in such a hypocritical society. How is it 3 female country musicians say "We're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas." and are all but ostracized from their industry and yet a rap star says "George Bush doesn't care about black people." and is regaled?

I know, I know. The rap/hip hop community is EXTREMELY different from country, but still. Both of y'all dissed the W. And to be honest, y'alls was much more innocent. Almost comical.

I always want to tell all them buttheads who gave y'all shit... "Hey losers! It's called Freedom of Speech, people. Look it up! Oh, and quit being such a-holes!"

Anyway, I am really looking forward to watching your movie.

So, keep it up y'all! I love your music, I love y'all and good luck with everything.

Sincerely,
Arianna

I love the DC's too. I knew we were meant to be BFFs.

And thanks for the nice words. One of these days he'll wake up and realize his mistake.

I love "y'alls". Plural possessive. I love talkin' Texan.
