Literally, I couldn't. I picked them up. Then put them down. Picked them up again. Tried them on. Made a few passes at nearby "cuties". Put them down again. Gave my friends the pitiful "I'd buy them, but I never carry any damn cash" look... and then BAM! They were mine.
Now if I saw a guy wearing them, I'd think - WHAT A BASTARD and write him off. But when a chick (i.e. Me) wears them, it's funny and cute. Or at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Is it a double standard, guys? Sure. Do I care? Clearly, no.
I do expect to put these to very good use as FIESTA is just around the corner. In the meantime, they are on my bedroom nightstand.
You know... just in case.
