It appears to be a small, rectangular shaped piece of paper. It's got a Scooby Doo on it.
Interesting.
Is it an invitation?
Nope.
A fancy IOU?
Hardly.
What is it?
A check?
What the hell is that?
Well, readers. You see, "checks" (were) are used to pay for things. They are LIKE cash apparently, only NOT (or a debit/check card for that matter). These "checks" were used in ancient times in lieu of cash, debit cards, and/or credit cards. They way they work, is that you have to fill out on several blanks: the place you are spending your money at, the amount (dude, you have to do this shit TWICE!), AND your effin' signature. It's crazy.
I'm so glad we don't really use these anymore... because I think my coffee actually went from hot to cold in the time it took for the chick in front of me to complete her check and for the guy at the register to process it this morning.
Ridiculous.
On a side note: Don't worry Spurs fans. It is ALL good.

You'd be surprised at how many people have to send a check into the school and can't figure out how to fill it in.
Either they are dumb, or out of practice.
I have my guess.
lol. nice blog!
Okay I admit it-I still use checks. But not ever in a line where people are waiting behind me. Does this make me old? I think so.
It makes me laugh when at my job, college kids try to pay their bar tabs with checks. Fun-ny.
