DUCK!

Okay. So I noticed a little something about myself this weekend as I drove my ass on over to Houston...

It seems that when traveling at fast speeds in my car, and a bug and/or other foreign object comes hurdling towards my windshield - I will not only flinch, I will actually try and duck my head down so as not to get hit by the offensive, flying insect of death.

It's like this... You're driving on the highway, oh I don't know 80-85 mph, and "BAM!". A damn bug flies toward you. Immediately I pretend I am NOT a turtle and that I actually CAN sink my head into my body (gross!) in order to avoid getting hit. Or I will twist my shoulders sideways, in the hopes of saving myself from being slapped with bug guts (double gross).

And then all at once, I find myself blushing because I'm that idiot who actually forgot for a second or two that there is a plate of glass between me and the world around me - thereby saving me from getting a face full of bug juice.

Anyone else do this?
