Remember that second car accident I briefly mentioned back in February?
Yeah well, this weekend I got a letter from my insurance company stating that the guy I rear-ended (The driver.); whose truck had less than $2000 damage and who DROVE AWAY from the accident (whereas mine had almost $6000 and had to be towed), was asking for over $11,000 in compensation.
CAN YOU FUCKING BELIEVE THAT SHIT!?!?!?!
When The Roommate and I were rear-ended the month before and my car had over $6500 damage - I think we got less than $2000 COMBINED. And this fuckin' cock-sucking THIEF wants $11k. WHAT THE FUCK!?
I am so pissed about this (clearly). I know it's not technically MY MONEY, but it feels like they are taking it from me nonetheless. Ya know what I mean? It feels like they are using my name to fuck my insurance company in the ass. And no one should be able to fuck my insurance company but me!
I'm sure y'all must think I'm crazy, but this is really upsetting. And unfortunately, there is not a DAMN thing I can do. Last I read was that my insurance company was offering HALF of the initial settlement request. Hopefully this guy will grow a conscience and settle. Otherwise, and I am saying it right here and now, I hope he gets fucked himself one of these days and then he can think back to this time and think ... "hmm, maybe I shouldn't have been such a selfish, money-grubbing prick and taken all that money that I didn't deserve."
I hate feeling this way. And I hate this man MORE for making me wish bad thoughts on him. It's all a vicious cycle.
