Time to celebrate

I'd like to take a moment, just sit right there, I'll tell you how I became the Prince of a town called Bel-Air.

Okay. I'm stopping. Because I was actually just typing "I'd like to take a moment..." when all of a sudden, the theme to Fresh Prince popped into my head... and as you can see I rolled with it.

But that is not what I was going for... you see, today is a very special day.

For today is the day that The Roommate surpasses me in age (MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) and turns 28.

Ah yes, today we celebrate the fact that I am still the youngest within my circle of friends.

WOO WOO!

TAKE THAT BITCHES!

Of course, my dear friend Jooky also had to remind me that it just means I'll be the last to retire. Hmmph... kill joy.

Anyway! So in honor of this very special day, please excuse me while I get a little mooshy.

Dear Mexi,

We sure have been through a lot the last... oh, 20 years or so... and let me tell you, not a day goes by that I don't get sick of hearing someone say to you "OH MY GOD! You're hair is so beautiful!" or "How long have you been growing your hair?" or "Wow, you're a really good belly-dancer!" or "You're so funny!" and other similar bullshit. Cause it's been tough, I have to say.

But I guess in the end, it's all worth it, because I truly look forward to the day when we're old (which for you will be sooner than me!) and crusty and raising our future hypothetical families together on the Westsiiiiiiiiide side by side... comadres forever.

It will especially be worth it since you're totally going to be that chick with the long silvery-white hair down to her knees. HA!
