Been wondering what's new with me?

Not a whooooooole helluva lot actually!

But I will tell you that work has been kicking my ass lately. Which is good AND bad. Mostly good because time tends to go by fast. And kinda bad because here I am still at the office, the last one to leave, and I STILL have shit to do. Sucks.

I went to the movies over the weekend and saw X-Men:The Last Stand or The Last Fight or whatever (seriously, why don't they just call it what it is - X-Men 3). It was awesome. But I think what was MORE awesome was that I went a WHOLE movie without hearing someone's cell phone ring. Now, that's not to say one didn't, I just didn't HEAR one ring. Which in my book is a big deal... because you can't go ANYWHERE without someone's damn cell ringing. Except maybe church. Or a funeral. Or at the hospital. Uhm, yeah. Well, you get my point.

Funny thing tho, and I've noticed it before but why is it that guys cannot sit next to each other at the movies. Think about it. For every time you've gone to the movies and seen two guys there... together... were they ever sitting next to each other? Or was there an empty seat in between them. So that they weren't ACTUALLY sitting next to each other. Is it some sort of guy cooties thing? Afraid your legs may accidentally brush up against each other, thereby igniting a deep passion that's been simmering deep inside until that very moment where you let yourself go and you just... went for it? Riiiiiight.

Speaking of intense homoerotic scenes that you never wanted to picture but you just did, when I was at the same movie theater I overheard the most peculiar thing.

Here is the scene...

Little girl (looked to be about 12): That is so gay!

Little boy (probably 7 or 8): Huh? The X-men are gay?!?!

Little girl: Nooooooooo! "Gay". You know, like... "cheesy" or "corny".

Little boy: Ooooh.

So there you have it folks. It's official. Spread the word to all your gay (homosexual, queer, brokeback, etc) friends. "Gay" now means "cheesy" or "corny".

Geez.

And they say the children are our future? Great.
