I don't get it

Some things are just too crazy to explain.

Things like my mom's reactions to gifts, my mad poker skills, and... the reason the CW (the new WB/UPN network) plans on bringing back 7th Heaven.

Mother's Day has come and gone and fortunately, I survived. I did go with the multi-gift option that way if she didn't like one, she was more likely to enjoy one of the others. And by others I mean 4 total gifts.

Yeah, I know.

As for my mad poker skills - that was how I spent part of my Friday night. Let me just tell y'all, I CLEANED HOUSE on Friday. And by that I mean, I kicked some ASS (as opposed to mopping or dusting or whatever you think "cleaning house" could mean). Ya see whenever my family gets together, inevitably a poker game ensues... and this Friday was no exception. Typically I don't participate. I never usually carry any cash, which as you can imagine, pretty much takes me out of the game. But this Friday was different. This Friday, I came to play! So I sat down at the table with my $5.00 in small bills and loose change, ready to play some poker. Well, honestly, ready to LOSE at some poker. Unfortunately, as much as I enjoy a good game, I'm not very lucky at it. But I think the poker fairy was watching over me (or could it have been my cousin) that night, because I had the Poker Night of my life! I walked away from the table with EVERYONE'S money! Or to be more specific, an additional $40.00!

Suckers.

With regards to the whole 7th Heaven bullshit... I think I will just say that this is the biggest load of crap I've read about in at least... a few days. I thought that damn show was gone for good (or at least, sent to Syndication Hell), but apparently it was my DESIRE FOR THAT SHOW TO FINALLY BE OVER that has gone straight to hell. Somewhere there is some douchebag (I love that word, I can't help it.) network executive sitting behind a big expensive desk, sucking on an even more expensive cigar, laughing his ass off for putting that show back on the air and bringing back a misery better left to sadists and Border Patrolmen.

Damn you 7th Heaven, damn you!
