Dallas or Bust!

I am headed to the Big D manana to see one of my best friend's, Erin. A former blogger whose migrated to myspace.

Eh. I guess that's okay.

So yeah. Me, The Roommate, and The Former Roommate (Stacy) are driving up tomorrow afternoon. Okay - I'm driving and they are passengering. I suspect The Roommate will get car sick and sleep the whole drive up. Too bad she doesn't know I plan on making a pit stop in Georgetown to visit the ol' alma mater. I mean - may as well, eh? Fortunately, we'll have my satellite radio to keep us entertained along with my new copy of Would You Rather?: Love and Sex. It truly doesn't get much better than that!

I am trying to decide if we should make OTHER pit stops along the way. Aside from Austin and SU there is very little on the way up. Well, except for the new scattered outlet malls along the way... Hmmmmm... that may not be a bad idea. Of course, there's also Waco.

Y'all remember Waco? The city that was home to those cultists that died/committed suicide during that standoff w/the ATF many years ago.

It's a sad story really.

Yeah - so along w/shopping, SU, and Waco, there ain't a DAMN thing between here and Dallas.

It's cool, tho. We will be okay.

I am packing the ice chest up! We'll have plenty of water, snacks, and gossip. I can't wait.

I suspect some stories will be necessary to share when we get back. Or at least, I hope so.
