Birthday wish

You know, in all the excitement (BTW, Atlanta... RULES!) I forgot that I never made a birthday wish.

What am I talking about?

Well, I didn't have a birthday cake this year. For whatever reason, I didn't and because of this, I didn't have my birthday wish. Meaning, no candles were blown out, etc. What I think is a bit sad is that I didn't even remember this until Monday, i.e. two weeks AFTER my birthday. Guess I've been busy.

So, the question became what to wish about. Normally, I don't pre-plan. I just make my birthday wishes up on the spot. First thing that pops into my head. But now that I've had some time to think about it. Sort of "plan for it" if you will, I've decided that my birthday wish is to be happy.

Not that I am UNhappy per se, I just feel as if I have been happier. Both professionally, personally, health-wise, etc and I feel that I have sort of lost that in the last several months. It's a totally self-imposed situation. I mean, we make our own happiness, right? Right. So, that being the case, I am working on making sure that I am happy again. That whatever I had found before, I recapture. I am looking forward to the next few days, months, whatever it takes. I have hope that my state of "happy" will be as successful as I make it.

And if you're thinking "wow, this chick sure is self-obsessed", my response would be "ya damn right!". I mean, if I can't make myself happy, how can I expect someone else to? Exactly. It's not possible. In the meantime, I'm working on helping others reach their own state of happiness. Maybe we can make it a care and share activity. No se. Either way, all is good.

Now back to our scheduled programming... meaning, me in Atlanta having a damn good time. Until I can post again..........
