On occasion

I have been known to come up with the occasional funny and/or witty comment. My recent trip to Atlanta apparently was inspiration enough.

Remember I mentioned that while there I consumed the best omelet I had ever had before in my life? Well, I wasn't exaggerating. It was at a restaurant called "R. Thomas" (shameless plug!), considered one of the "healthier" restaurants in Atlanta. It was just "granola" enough I'd say. Vegan this, organic that, 25 different teas to choose from. You get the drill.

WELL!! I decided to order the Queen Chicken Omelet (er, or something like that. I can't remember exactly and their website seems to be down.) . It was simple really. Chicken, mushrooms, zucchini, and mozzarella. Doesn't sound too complicated, eh? Well, probably not. But it was still super tasty. However, I will add that apparently they only use "free range" chickens in their dishes.

Lord! I think my eyes have sufficiently rolled out of my head, off the table and across the room.

BRB, I need to go fetch them.

Okay, back.

So, yeah. Anyway, I'm "mmmm"ing and "aaaah"ing over my muy delicioso (translation: very delicious) lunch and my friends ask...

Peeps I'm with: So, what's in it?

Me: Well, eggs. Clearly. And 'shrooms, zucchini, mozzarella, and "free range" chicken.

Peeps: OoooooOOooo.

Me: Yeah, it's awesome. I can really taste the "independence" too. I can just tell these chickens were in a loving environment. Able to roam around free... at least until their eventual demise in order to appear on my plate.

Peeps: HAHAHAHAHA! Oh Arianna, you're so clever and funny. HAHAHAHAHA!

Me: (duh) Thanks.

So yeah. That was my clever quote for the day/week/(hopefully not) month. Not too bad if I do say so myself.
