I had a very revealing night last night. I invited Becky over and well, let's just say that there is a lot of things I got off my chest. None of which I will go into detail here - only because it would take forever and I need to do SOME work today, but let's just say there were things I have wanted to share with her. Parts of my past that while not a secret, are topics that just don't come up very often.
And so I did.
And so she listened.
And when we said good night, she hugged me close and everything was right in the world.
I knew she would understand. I knew she would get how huge it was for me to share it with her. Because that's what friends do. They listen and they hug and they understand.
Thank God for friends.
