Especially when it comes to things at work. I mean, I realize the sign of a good and strong employee is the ability to roll with the punches, to deal with the unexpected. And I'd like to think I do that fairly well, but it still BUGS me to no end when staff show up to a meeting KNOWING I try and take a head count beforehand and don't bother to notify me that they will be attending the damn meeting. I mean - COME ON! Would it be too much to ask for? I don't think so.
*growl* So frustrating.
Of course, it doesn't help that I have been mostly annoyed all day to the new "parking rules". Because we have a shitty parking lot, the rest of us lowly nobodies (i.e. the AmeriCorps) will be parking out in BFE. This pisses me off so very very much. In fact, I can't believe I am as mad as I am.
So on another subject, I went to that party Friday night... and this is the best thing I took away from it. I was making fun of this one guy ... and fortunately only Stacy heard me...
but there was this guy and he was saying the stupidest crap...
"hey y'all let's go out to the front yard and burn something!" and then said "hey.. yeah.. what's good to burn?" And some other moron actually started answering him. I said under my breath... "crosses are good to burn"... "Yeah. Go for it. Right on the front yard." Stacy started laughing hysterically and telling me to behave. But I mean REALLY !! Idiots.

you know, there was a saying I used to hear all the time about that...and I was usually pretty disturbed that it was so common for people to "have their cross to burn." WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! Course at some point, I realized it was their cross to "BEAR" and life proceeded along its course with one less perturbing confusion than before.
