My day

My alarm is set for 6:45 am, but I press the snooze button just enough so that I am ready to wake up at 7:30 am. I jump in the shower and then I get ready for work. I try and grab something quick for lunch and I'm in the car w/fifteen minutes to get to work. Which usually is just enough time.

I walk in to the office and say hello to people and settle down in my little cube in the back. I turn on my computer and am immediately greeted by a smiling Manu Ginobili. (OH SO CUTE!)

I check my Outlook email, the seen if I have any yahoo mail, next I read "My Yahoo" webpage... from there I see what are the local stories and national sports headlines. I also read my three favorite comic strips: LuAnn, Fox Trot, and Get Fuzzy.

By the way, if you have never read "Get Fuzzy", I totally recommend it. It's a comic about a guy and his two pets - Bucky the Cat and Satchel the Dog and their many misadventures. It's filled w/a dry, sarcastic wit and humor that I LOVE. So, check it out.

After I have had my morning chuckle, I proceed to my hotmail and gmail accounts. I am quite popular you see and NEED all these damn email accounts. Eh, what can I say, I like to have options.

Then I proceed to complete some sort of lists of tasks... periodically stopping to look online at some of my every day sites. I know I am a boring adult because these are the sites I look at EVERYDAY:
  1. www.bankofamerica.com
  2. www.attwireless.com
  3. www.mysanantonio.com
  4. www.weather.com

Toss in a few hits on NBA.com, Ebay.com, and of course here on Blogger.com and I've just described most of my normal M-F work days.

Exciting, yes, I know.

Please hold your tongues, or else I will hold them for you.

Life is good though. Jacob and Amy had a (beautiful?) little boy this morning. Welcome Nate! I am still crossing my fingers, cause I think my chances of being his god-mother are pretty high. And frankly, the thought of it is terrifying, but also amazing. I would be so proud to be a godmother to little Nate. I mean - in my mind that is one of the biggest compliments; one of the sweetest gifts a friend or relative can give to someone. It is a big responsibility and one I would gladly accept if the offer is extended to me. But then again, nothing is FOR SURE.

Aside from that, I have very little to announce. Nothing quite compares as it is.
