No, really.

I've made a lot of realizations about myself lately.

Here are a few:

1. I overanalyze. Everything. I am not exaggerating here. I especially overanalyze when it comes to relationships with men.

2. I run away. Almost every time something happens that I don't like or that scares me even the littlest bit - I'm outta there.

3. I almost never "stick to my guns". If I decide to do something major - as in life-changing, I almost never keep it going. I usually fold or change my mind at some point, completely going back on what I originally intended to do.

4. I hate change. That's pretty self-explanatory.

5. I don't like to take risks. I'm not exactly spontaneous or adventurous. I like to take the easy road/safe path pretty much all of the time.

However, I do have a few redeeming qualities as well.
For example:

1. Everything I do, I do with my whole heart. I don't believe in half-assing life.

2. I love unconditionally. If I love you, I love everything about you. Even the most fucked up thing about you - I still kinda like it.

3. I'm open-minded. I don't like to close myself off from ideas, from people, from life.

4. I think it's all about the little things. Will I remember your birthday? Hopefully. Will I write you a sappy "thank you" card or note if I think you're having a rough day? Will I remember that you prefer the red Starbursts and save them for you? Absolutely. The people in my life are never far from my thoughts.

5. I'm very practical. It's taken me a long time to grow up... but in the last few years (despite the occasional escapade) I have really made a conscious decision to keep my life in order. To be dependable, to think ahead, and to work hard.

Holy shit, I sound boring.

Uhm, no, I'm really enigmatic and complex. Yeah. Right. What you see is what you get folks. Or rather, what you read in this case. I admit, I haven't been posting very many "deep insights into my psyche" as of late, but I still think that every post I write has a little bit of "Ari" charm packed into each bite. You be the judge.
