I know what you might be thinking - and you're right it's too early for "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Let me tell you now that this is NOT a Christmas countdown. I mean - at this point all of us (meaning my faithful readers) should be able to count. You take 25 - you subtract 5 - blah blah blah. No. This is not the countdown I am referring to.
You see I am counting down the work days until my holiday vacation begins.
One of the MANY advantages to working in higher education is the number of holidays I receive. And truth be told - here at PAC I have more than I know what to do with. I think it's something like 20-21 a year.
(Jealous yet? Hate me, don't you? Thought so.)
So, today the countdown begins until my 2 week (PAID) holiday vacation.
That's right. Two glorious mother-effing weeks off beyotches!
(Doesn't my Christmas Spirit just warm your heart?)
And so here we go.
Number of business days left til my ass-rockin' holiday break begins: 9!
