To Pee or Not to Pee - that is the Question

Okay - here we go, yet another example of why technically, yes, I am 27, but really, I'm only 8.

So, I have to pee right now. Not terribly. But enough to admit to it. The issue here is not whether I have to or not - the issue is why haven't I already. I mean - clearly I have established there is a need. The problem is - the lack of desire to do so.

Because in order to urinate, that would mean I would have to put my shoes back on (Yes, they are currently off. But give me a break - they are brand new shoes and my damn feet hurt like a beyotch.), stand up and walk to the public restroom down the hall. And to be honest, not a damn one of those things appeal to me in the slightest right now. Mostly the shoes part - but the whole getting up part is rounding out at a close second place.

You see, I have finally gotten to a comfortable spot in my seat. The temperature in the room is at desired level. And my feet, well, they were just beginning to ease into being shoeless.

Besides - think about what happens when I leave.

First - it involves shoes.

Secondly, I would have to rise from my seat, walk to the door and then down the hall.

And FINALLY - it would mean I would have to go into a not very warm and even less inviting public restroom.

Does anyone else NOT pee because they are just too comfortable to get up?

Now, clearly, I will have to get up eventually - because my bladder will revolt sooner or later (I'm leaning towards sooner at this point, unfortunately) and if there is any body part I'm not interested in pissing off (heh) it is my bladder - but frankly I just don't want to. And one of the best parts about being an adult is that we don't have to do certain things we don't want to. Like use the restroom until we are good and ready. As opposed to whenever our parents tell us to.

Oh damnit - be right back.

Okay, I'm back. And so what if I feel better. My feet hurt again, I'm a bit on the cold side now, AND I have to find the comfy spot in my chair again. Son of a bitch!
