Okay, I'm just stalling now.
You see, I have finally decided to tell y'all what it is I do as a second job. I figured I have been hounded enough by all my frequent readers who don't, you know, know me "in real life" to finally share it here on my blog.
Most of you know by now that I have a second job and have had a second job for going on two and a half years now. I started (actually it's more like "returned", but I'll get to that later) there when I left "the Lake" back in April of 2003 and have been there ever since.
I'm an operator at an answering service.
And noooooo, not THAT kind of operator and DEFINITELY not that kind of service.
Oh man, if I had $200 for every time I was asked "are you a phone sex operator?" whenever I tell people what I do - I'd easily have several hundred dollars.
Easily.
But no. I'm just an operator who takes messages for doctor's offices, apartment complexes, a/c and heating companies, etc. It's extremely easy, they are very flexible with my schedule, and I truly enjoy working with the people there. They are entertaining at the very least.
Besides - if I WAS a phone sex operator I would totally just say so. I believe I would put it along the lines of "adult phone actress". Or something like that shit. Either way, there you have it. Now you know - and knowing is half the battle............ G.I. Jooooooe! American Hero!
BTW - if you're wondering who's been hounding me. No one has - I just thought I'd tell y'all.
Number of business days left til my ass-rockin' holiday break begins: 4!
(if you're wondering how I went from six days to four overnight, that's because I'm off on Friday, December 16 now! Sucka's!)
