Ya know how when you have a day off from work, how much fun it can be....
Yeah, and you know how when you have a day off from work, how much work you have sitting on your desk when you get back?
That was my Tuesday. Two days worth of work crammed into one day. Sucked. Sure it makes the day go by faster blah blah blah, but it also creates a horrible crink in my neck. And the last thing I need is a crick (sp?) in my neck.
So it was brought to my attention by more than one person within the last few days that on occasion I speak with a drawl. Certain words seem to bring it out of me. Alright, high, right, etc. I am noticing a pattern tho. The weird part of all of this is that (believe it or not) not many San Antonians have accents. And aside from being away for a few years during college, I've always lived here. I can't explain it at all. But hey, I say go with it.
I came face to face with one of my demons last night. My choice of music. Apparently, music listening-wise, I am a 45 year old white woman.
Well, that's it folks. I vow to ONLY listen to heavy metal and hardcore gangsta rap for 2 days straight! To purge the easy-listening out of me.
Okay. That's not true. I won't. I know I've said it before, but I really have an eclectic music collection. And sometimes I'm just in a Phil Collins/Journey/Heart kind of mood. And other days, I'm all over System of a Down/50 Cent/and Shakira.
I saw something on tv last night that I'm not sure I buy. On this rather entertaining, if not utterly ridiculous, game show called "Distraction", there was a contest that involved urinating on demand. Now, I don't know about y'all, but I don't think I've ever in my entire life peed on demand. I mean, I pee when I pee. Not because, ya know, I think right now I'd like to pee. And then these contestants not only had to pee on demand, but they just had to pee a little. Like in spurts... heh, pardon the pun. I mean - woah! That can't be healthy. So yeah, I think it's bullshit, but whatev, it made for good t.v. And we all know bottom line, that's the most important part.
Alright, and on that note (peeing on demand), I'm out. Later gators.

What channel are you watching to find such a weird game show? Not the game show network? I couldn't pee on demand. Actually now that I'm thinking about it, that show sound really gross.
It's on Comedy Central. The show is ACTUALLY entertaining. Apparently it's based on the British version. I'd recommend checking it out at least once.
I think my pee would have stage fright...no can do!
