VIVA!!!
So this Saturday - I will be participating in the Cesar Chavez (no relation) March here in San Antonio. And I'm very excited about it.
No, really, I am.
Technically, I'm going with the kids I work with (so it's work-related), but my dad is going to be there too. So it should be a lot of fun.
I participated in this march a few years ago and had a great time. It's very Mexi-empowering. And it doesn't hurt that it's a nice little physical activity.
Funny story about the last time I was involved with the march. When it came time to line up. The group I was marching with ended up behind the (get this!) "Skinheads Against Racism".
Yes, you read right. The "Skinheads Against Racism". They even had signs and a banner.
I think what REALLY got my attention was the one guy WITH hair standing with them. I wondered if all of his little skinhead friends give him shit about it. Something like "hey, hair-guy" or "hey you, with the hair".
Either way, that was funny as hell.
I can only hope this year's march will provide the same entertainment as the last one I attended. I'll let y'all know.

What is this Cesar Chavez march you speak of?
Hmmmm skinheads with hair... who knew?!
Have fun!
Without coming across as rude (Im actually just lazy), I'd suggest googling Cesar Chavez to find out who he is and why I marched in his honor over the weekend.
And thanks! It was fun. Too bad I got a sunburn on my nose, cheeks, and scalp.
Oh well. Viva La Raza!
