And it only cost me 6 tickets!
Of course, by "leid" I am referring to the plastic lei I received for buying a Hawaiian shaved ice this afternoon.
But to sound cool, I went with "leid". To make y'all think I got some.
I am so cool.
Now that we all know that I didn't get some today, I'll explain what the hell I'm talking about.
This week was FIESTA here in SA.
For those unfamiliar with "FIESTA"... FIESTA is the time of year where the city of San Antonio parties for 10 days straight. And if you think I'm at all exaggerating, come visit us at the end of the 3rd week thru the 4th week of April and you'll become a believer. Of course, if over-priced beer, Mexican food, lines of port-o-potties, and huge crowds are not your scene, I wouldn't recommend the trip. Otherwise, you're all welcome. And if you need a place to crash... well, I'm sure there is something we could work out. *nudge nudge wink wink*
I spent most of today outside enjoying fine weather, fine food, and great company. I really look forward to this time of year. It usually is my first real tan of the year. Which I love. Only I spend most of my time in flip flops, so I get those obnoxious flip flop tan lines... which is cool, only it makes my toes look like they are perpetually dirty. And for some reason that turns the guys off. Pssh.. whatever. I happen to think dirty toes are sexy.
Anyway, now that FIESTA is over, I suppose I will have to wait another year to pay for a good lei.
But I gotta say, it sure is worth the wait.
