Yeah. To hell with race, religion, gender, blah blah blah...
It's all about who drives the stick or who doesn't.
If you're thinking... "huh?"... lemme essplain.
There are those who can/like to drive the stick (get your minds out of the gutter now people, I'm referring to driving manual transmissions) and those who don't. I am one of those people who like to drive the stick (BTW, that time I WAS referring to the male genitalia...). But I also like to drive manual transmissions. I feel I have better control over my speed and, more importantly, my take off. Of course, I haven't really driven the stick (talking about a car again) in over 2 years, so I am a bit rusty (still talking about the car version). Case in point, I think I think I stalled like 10 times this weekend.
Oh well. Such is life.
If you're wondering where in the hell this is coming from, well... it's coming from the fact that I bought a new car on Friday. Woo! :) Here he is:
He's a 2007 Scion tC. Black. 5-speed transmission (duh). And of course, it has all of the fun/basic Scion features. Sunroof, cruise control, CD/MP3 player, moonroof in the back, 17" allow wheels, etc.
I'm not sure if I mentioned this folks, but you see when I'm feeling down or out of sorts...which I guess I have been lately, I like to go shopping. Only this time I decided to go shopping for a car.
I probably should have stuck to the mall, but either way, it's done.
Actually, speaking of the mall. I bought a new dress yesterday. It's hot. I'll have to post a pic (just give me a couple more weeks of running) soon.
Back to my sweet ass new ride. He needs a name... and if you say "Black Beauty" I will never speak to you again - because THAT is lame.
Don't test me on this.
Sooooooo... any suggestions?

I'm lazy when it comes to the stick (of course I'm talking about the car now too). I fear stalling out at a light or something. I avoid it if I can.
Love the car! Niiiice!! Congrats on that!
Let me think of some names....
How about Black Stallion since it is a stick? :) lol
I love the car. Very Pretty, or should I say handsome.
I'm assuming it's a boy due to the stick?
How about Oscar? Keeps things simple.
Sammy?
Nacho?
Ohh wait you said "She's a 2007..."
Damn.
Back to the drawing board.
Thank goodness there is still plenty of room...
I changed my mind.. it's a he. I agree... if it's gotta stick... it's gotta be a "boy" car.
Speed tool ... Johnson ... OOo I got it. Clutch!
Nice car. First car I learned to drive was a `74 Mercury Capri 4 speed.
I had a Honda Civic and this girl I worked with used to borrow it just so she could drive a stick. She fetched lunch a few times just to drive. I swore she came back with afterglow.
