What did you say?

First off - I am apologizing for this post. It's bound to be boring as hell. Bored myself just writing it, and yet I still wrote it. Tsk tsk.

So in the last few weeks I've heard some doozies.

Waitress at a Denny's: You know who you look like?

Me: (Uh oh) No. Who?

Waitress: Kelly Clarkson!

Me: What?

Waitress: She's a singer. (duh!) Y'all have similar hair styles... and your face. You look like her!

Me: (No way!) Thank you.

Oh man, I was so embarrassed. But personally, I think she said it because she knew she was a horrible waitress and was trying to butter me up early before she (cue sarcasm) showed off her "waitressing talents".

And then the other day...

Friend's Wife: You look great. How do you feel about losing the weight?

Me: (what the hell?!?!?) Uhm... good?

I'm sorry but that just seemed like a dumb ass question. I mean, what could/would I have said? "Eh, it's alright I guess." or maybe "I LOVE IT!! EVERYONE SHOULD DO IT! YAY! LOSING WEIGHT!" or "I'm not sure yet. I'm still considering how it's changed my life. You know in all different kinds of ways."

I'm rolling my eyes so far back at this point that I am afraid they'll stay that way. Which ... would suck.

Anyway, again, sorry for the lame ass post... but I have a headache.
