Last night

Inevitably after a holiday like Valentine's Day, I'll hear the dreaded question.

"So, what did you do last night?"

And of course, the genius who asked knows I'm single.

Are they asking to be mean?

Perhaps they want to share what THEY did? And if so, do you think I (the singleton) really wants to hear what you did for Valentine's Day? No! Well, maybe if you didn't do anything at all. I wouldn't mind hearing that.

So here are my 3 possible answers to that annoying question above:

1. Well! All my other single gf's and I got all hoochied out and went out. It was our goal to go to as many places we could and blatantly flirt with all the men there on dates with their ladies. As usual, men in relationships always want what they can't have. i.e. Another chick.

2. I went to one of those "Singles Meet-n-Greets for V-Day" at a local bar. Where I immediately hooked up with the first guy I met. So what if he has dandruff, a lisp and lives with his parents. I've GOT my own place.

3. I went to the gym, had a good workout. Went home, made dinner for myself and watched American Idol. I ended up going to bed early.
