Messed up!

I have had the worst luck at home the last couple of days.

First it started on Thursday when I came home and saw a note posted on the staircase next to my apartment. It read:

"There is dumstur out back for trach. Thank you."

Uh. Yeah, exactly.

Well, apparently the note was left for whomever had left their garbage bag outside my door. I had noticed it the night before AND that morning, but assumed it was from the apartment across from mine and that she just hadn't had a chance to toss it. I moved it from in front of my door closer to hers. And then went back inside my apartment. Later that same night (Thursday) I walked outside and the trash bag was outside my door again. This time, pissed off, I picked up the trash and walked it to the dumpster. It was a little late, but since I was pissed I decided to confront my neighbor. I knocked on her door... and while she wouldn't answer, she did admit through the door that it wasn't her trash. I told her I took it out myself.

It better not happen again. I'm just sayin'.

Then today! Oh, no.

I got up this morning... walked outside and this time something had been stolen from my front porch. My new lawn gnome "Carlos". This is quite distressing. I always got a little tickled every time I came home and saw him. I mean, come on, that's funny. A lawn gnome on a front porch of an apartment (considering I have no actual lawn). And now... he's gone. Someone effin' stole him! It means either a neighbor did it or someone visiting a neighbor. Or it was some random person who walked up the stairs on the chance there would be something cool to steal and then took it!

It was only a $1, so that's not what pisses me off - it's just WHO STEALS A TINY ASS LAWN GNOME. Carlos was like 4-5 inches tall, if that! What a bunch of shit. Ugh! I'm sooooo pissed right now. And now I don't know if I should buy another one (I really liked having it) or just not bother in case it's also stolen.

Maybe I could super glue or hot glue it to the porch ledge.

I don't know.

Stupid thieves. I hope they get theirs!!!!!

And then my stupid mailman wasn't delivering my mail to me for a few days a couple of weeks ago.

When does it end!

Maybe Carlos got taken by a group of kids who will take him on an adventure, take pictures and then return him? It happens around here with Church Youth Groups (the irony of it eh?)

I thought about that. I mean isn't it "all the rage" to steal people's lawn gnomes? However, this little guy wasn't exactly your Hollywood version. I mean, it was literally 4-5 inches high. If that! Seems if one is gonna steal a lawn gnome, make it count.
