All that is beautiful is this world

Is it small children laughing and playing in a large field of dandelions? ... noooooo.

Is it a nun handing a cup of warm soup to a homeless man down on his luck? ... nope.

Could it be a brand new 2005 Cherry Red Ford Mustang (hell even a '67 Cherry Red Ford Mustang)? ... in this case, not so much.

The view from the top of the Smokey Mountains on a clear day? ... yeah, right!

No... it's the Digital Video Recorder. The middle-class version of TiVo.

This bad boy pauses and records live television.

I love you so, DVR.

You... complete me.

I don't think I can remember who I was before I met you. Certainly not the same woman I am today. You have changed me, made me be a better person. There are no words I can use to fully express my feelings of gratitude and adoration for you. It is like God made me this special gift, just for me... and that gift was YOU.

Please, a moment of silent reflection for the DVR... my own personal angel.

PS - I saw Bret today and sure enough... flutter. But don't worry DVR, you are my one and only.
