Couple of fun things to mention today:
1. I have a crush!
Awwwwww...
Well, it's about damn time I say! I mean, COME ON.
There should ALWAYS be someone in your life your heart flutters for... and if you disagree then you must be dead inside and therefore not someone I wish to talk to. Please leave me alone.
His name is Bret. No, not Brett. One t. Simple. Kinda, hokey... but then again he has a Texas drawl accent, so I'm really not very surprised. He's one of the "new guys" here at work. I haven't figured out how old he is, BUT I do know he has a 3 year old son that he raises pretty much on his own. Single dad! SEXY! Apparently his ex-wife cheated on him and then decided she didn't want to be a full-time mom. Stupid biotch.
Problems:
A. My friends that I work with don't like him. They have told me some not cool things, but then again, it could be nothing. He IS new and they don't know him very well (but then again, neither do I).
B. We work together. Even if we dug each other, that could mean trouble. More for him than me tho... so I dunno.
C. Not only don't my friends like him, they make fun of him. Calling him names and stuff. It's not cool and I've said so... so if we were dating, I know they'd be staying stuff about him behind our backs. Not cool at all.
2. I saw my ex yesterday.
I haven't seen him in months. Yes, we've talked on the phone (er, well, there was that ONE time and then just normal catching up the other few times) and had a few text message conversations, but otherwise - we haven't really seen each other in awhile. How did this happen you ask? He called - I said, sure I'll go shopping with you. He needed to get something for his mom and asked me to come along. I couldn't say no. I didn't want to say no. It was nice. I kind of forgot how cute he is until I saw him again. OF COURSE there was sexual tension, but I think we dealt with it okay. We did not make any future plans tho, so afterwards I just hugged him and said "see ya". We even took separate cars. My idea.
I don't know. I can't shake the lingering feelings, but I'm also not holding my breath for any kind of reunion. We just don't have what it takes to make it last... and despite our best intentions, that's just how the cookie crumbles.
3. The new cell phone is pretty fun. I am learning new things every day about it. :D I love new gadgets.
Anyway - GO Spurs GO!
