So, when I was in college, my apartment (and I guess me too) had a reputation for being the "party zone".

Hmmm, actually that sounds a lot cooler than it was. I didn't exactly have them every weekend or anything but I had parties or hosted them often enough.

Plenty of times they were themed.

My friend Jimmy used my apartment (and the apartment next door) for his "Pimps and Ho's" party.

I had my Laymaker parties there - along w/the "Everybody Gets Leid" party.

And sometimes I had after-party parties. Or get-togethers if you will. Usually this was when I had peeps over during the week to help polish off whatever beer, wine, jell-o shots, etc may have been leftover from the last party. I decided that one in particular I would make it a "beer and porn night".

I didn't actually have any porn (still don't - *cough* Christmas gift), so I decided to borrow a couple from someone. I called a friend and we racked our brains over who to ask... when she suggested our friend Patrick.

DUH. This was the guy who had every internet porn site password known to man in his possession.

The same guy that when I went to borrow a couple, he had a CLOSET of them. Awesome.

Of course, I had seen a few porno movies before. Nothing terribly thrilling - but enough to realize how much fun they can be when watched in large groups. And no, before you assume I had a daisy chain w/my friends or some other form of group sex... it was completely innocent.

Nothing at all happened.

Damnit.

So, when I inquired to Patrick what he recommended - he proceeded to drill me (eww, bad pun) on the type of porn I was looking for.

Did I want straight effing or was I looking for something w/a plot? Any girl-on-girl action? Etc.

I told him it was for a party of mixed genders and mixed sexual orientation - so preferably something w/a plot, but girl-on-girl wasn't out of the question.

He handed over some weird ass sci-fi themed porn w/people in bad make-up and horrible music... but he ALSO handed over "Justine". Anyone else wondering how it is I can remember the name of a porn 5 years after the fact? Yeah, I'll get to that.

So, "Justine" is the story of a lovely young blonde woman who has the worst of luck. She falls in love w/a dashing, well-endowed young man who pleasures her (quite often) like no one else has... but then meets another man who also tickles her fancy(... and by fancy I mean ... uuh, you know what I mean). And of course, this second man is the father of her boyfriend.

D'oh!

Sooooooo, yeah. She has to decide who she wants to be with.

I honestly can't remember what happens, but I'm sure she did it w/both of them (possibly together) before she made up her mind. Cause, you know, that's what I'd do.

One of the best parts of this story - is that "Justine" became quite the long standing joke amongst my friends and I. We would bring up the name and movie quite often and usually around people who had NO IDEA what we were talking about. It was great.
