Notsomuch

So I wasn't kidding when I said I was a "creature of habit". Only I think I should have been paying better attention to me... er, myself.

The other day I went grocery shopping for the week. Had to get the usuals: veggies, fresh ground turkey and fish, fruit, razors, shampoo, water (still think it's weird BUYING water, but whatever), beans, milk, bread, and of course TP (toilet paper). Ya see, I ALWAYS buy Angel Soft. In fact, I don't think I've purchased any other brand of TP in uhm... over 7 years. (Why 7? Because that's when I had to start buying my own TP. duh.) Well, this particular time Angel Soft was not on sale. It's hit or miss actually. But Charmin... was. Charmin was on sale significantly. In fact. And I had a coupon.

Yes, I'm a coupon thatgirl7278. Hey, I grew up lower middle class. It's how I roll! (hehe, "roll"! Get it?!?!)

Anyway, back to Charmin. So, yeah. I bought Charmin. And woah. Not good woah. Just woah woah. Think about it folks. Let's say there is one thing you have habitually purchased for YEARS and then all of a sudden you toss it up and buy something completely different. That would be like changing shampoo/conditioner after 7 years of buying the same kind. Which (btw) actually, I switch up every few months or so. It's better for you hair (or so I've read). Or maybe it would be like changing the type of beverage you normally drink. Let's say you've always drank Coke, but then you bought Pepsi. Or even beer. Maybe you've always been a Miller Lite fan, but Bud Lite was on sale. Your whole world gets thrown for a loop! Right?

I hope someone said "right" in their own heads about right now, because otherwise, I'm just a freak.

In any case, I'm a little bit sensitive these days. Not... uhm, physically so. More emotionally. I think it's the new TP.

I told my Mom this yesterday. She said why don't I go and buy Angel Soft. But that would mean tossing the Charmin TP out. And that's just plain dumb. That's like tossing... uhm... $$(TP) down the drain.

I'm just puntastic today! Good stuff!
